The Epsom Oaks and The DerbyBy The UK Horse Racing Tipster
The Investec Oaks is running tomorrow and is a race for 3 year old fillies that is run just over 1 mile 4 furlongs.
It is a group 1 race held the day before the Derby at Epsom and the current going is Good to Soft, Soft in places.
The last winner of the race was the Aiden O'Brien trained Was and although the favourite, Secret Gesture hasn't won a group 1 race yet it has the top official rating of 111 and has won 2 of it's 3 races, the last being The Betfred The Bonus King's Oaks Trial Stakes run over 1m 3f 106y on Good ground.
The race before that was won over heavy going over a mile in the saxon-gate.com E.B.F. Maiden Fillies' Stakes. Therefore the horse can handle the ground, is proven over the distance and is rightly ranked as favourite.
The full listings can be seen below including the form and the official rating of each horse.

The DerbyThe Investec Derby is held the day after the Oaks on Saturday and is still the most famous group 1 English classic and one of the most famous races in the world.
The last winner was Camelot who attempted the Triple Crown and failed and was recently beaten in Ireland last week.
Run over the same distance as the Oaks it is 1 miles 4f 10y and open to the best 3 year old runners around with the winner taking home a prize of £782,314.
With the class horse being the unbeaten Dawn Approach who recently won the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket over a mile and having already won 3 group 1 races including the Qipco 2000 Guineas Stakes at 11/8, the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes at 9/29 and the Goffs Vincent O'Brien Stakes at 2/5 over various goings from Good to Firm to Yielding (Irish for Heavy/Soft) the only question is can the horse stay the extra 4 furlongs?
There is some question over this and with the Irish 2000 Guineas winner Magician not running anymore the competition comes down to a few other horses.
We have the Betfred Dante Stakes winner Libertarian who has won on Soft and Good to Soft ground and has proved stamina over 1 miles 2f when he won the Dante at a huge price of 33/1.
There is also the unbeaten French raider Ocovango who has won over heavy ground and is trained by the same trainer A Fabre who ruined the Queen's day the other year when Pour Moi beat Carlton House in the Derby.
Then there is the Irish trained Battle of Marengo who is one of Adrian O'Briens 5 horses in the race but is clearly the best having won it's last 5 races and with his son Joseph O'Brien riding it. It's last four races had odds on prices with the last race in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes having a winning price of 2/13!
Therefore whilst Dawn Approach is unbeaten and looked as classy as possible in the 2000 Guineas there could be an upset if he fails to stay the trip and you might be wise to take up the bet offer from Bet Victor which will give you up to £50 back if he wins the race and your horse doesn't.
If you play your bets tactically then you could go for Ocovango at around 7/1 and then you are basically betting on two horses to win.
If Ocovango wins you are looking at £350 profit and if not you've got £50 back to place on another bet.
With Royal Ascot a few weeks away you could use the money to place a bet on Dawn Approach or Farhh in the Sussex Stakes or even find a nice trial to lump your money on for a guaranteed return, even at each way.
Therefore if the price of evens is too low for you to go heavy on the favourite Dawn Approach then this bet offer might be for you.
So if this looks like something you might be interested in and you regularly bet on Bet Victor and have a horse lined up within 30 days you could be sure of getting a win with then sign up for your £50 Dawn Approach refund bet.
